About DR BAS

I am a medical doctor and obtained my degree in 2005. I completed my internship training at 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria rotating through various disciplines, subsequent to the completion of my internship I joined Port Shepstone Regional Hospital in 2007 and rotated through emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery during my community service year.

I then joined the department of Surgery from 2008 till 2010 where I was involved in emergency and general surgical care providing numerous and varied surgical procedures both lifesaving and elective.

In 2010 I then became the Trauma Services director at Netcare Margate Hospital, where I ran all emergency services since including the provision of all medical and surgical emergencies, protocol and clinical management improvement as well as attending to critical patients in I.C.U. and general wards. It is here that my journey in integrative and aesthetic medicine began.
